This is an excerpt from the Preview of the Nintendo DS game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales by 1up

In last month’s preview on Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales we mentioned Quickplay mode where players could “quickly” access any of the minigames they had previously unlocked in storymode. Now, with a bit more hands-on time with the game, we thought we’d tell you about some of the minigames we’ve uncovered.

First of all, Quickplay mode is actually split into two submodes — Minigame and Microgame (there is a third option here as well that lets you view the top scores of the minigames, even between the different save slots). The Minigame section is where you access all the story books you’ve visited to replay their trial modes. The Microgame section is where all the individual unlocked minigames are found.
